Running out of Wheat Thins

Today marks our 10 year birthday as a company. That’s right. TEN.

Over the years there’ve been…

  • 4 “real” offices + 1 apartment office
  • 20 computers
  • 300+ clients
  • 1000+ projects
  • 1 million boxes of Wheat Thins*
  • 2 boxes of Triscuits
  • 74 awards
  • 1 baby
  • 3 weddings
  • 7 NPOs supported
  • 6 versions of our website
  • 333 blog posts
  • 14 conference presentations
  • & made more friends than we can count.

* number may be slightly inflated. Likely closer to 200.

Sure there are challenges (eg. running out of Wheat Thins) and some days are tough, but most days are amazing.

And for that we feel very, very lucky.

So to all of our family members, friends, clients and mentors, we thank you for supporting us for the last 10 years.
We’re offering reimbursements in the form of hugs. Feel free to stop by for yours.

  1. Sincerest birthday wishes to all those truly splendid Paragonians! May your days be filled with Wheat Thins may all your deadline be met with aplomb and timeliness and may all your printers remain unjammed.

Remember, inside every older company is a younger company wondering what the hell happened!

  2. Aaron Smith says:

Congrats on 10 years! It seems like much less. You guys are doing great work. Keep it up!

  3. Kevin says:

Congrats on all the Wheat Thins… I mean years! I mean success! Nevermind, congratulations on surviving as a company for a decade! That’s 9 years longer than almost every other company ever founded! You guys are awesome!

  4. Congrats, and many thanks for the collaboration we’ve had over the years. Here is to a bright and shiny future(s). 😉

  5. Bill Kenney says:

Congrats! It has been a pleasure getting to know you guys. You did miss one bullet though….how much moola 🙂

    1. Susan says:

hahaha…Bill, that part is a secret….but we keep our extra ethernet cables in a Bugatti Veyron parked out back.

      1. Bill Kenney says:

no doubt 🙂 Great job on 10 years. Much to be proud of.

  6. Phil says:

    Thanks all!
Bill, we didn’t want to brag but we’ve made tens of dollars over the years. We’re basically hundredaires.

    1. Susan says:

Phil, I was trying to make us sound rich.

  7. Luke says:

Y’all are nuts! Congratulations though, seriously! Ten years in Internet time means you guys are all really old (and by that, I mean the company… not “you guys” specifically… of course… or something). 🙂

  8. Jacob Hodesh says:

In 2002 we hired Paragon to design http://www.hodesh.com.

    Their original concepts were terrible.

    We quickly fired them.

Our family design aesthetic is far more advanced than what they could/can handle.

We are a professional family. And our demands for Hodesh.com were cutting edge. To be clear, we have very high standards.

If you want a website for your baby, Paragon can do it.

Other than that, you are better off using a template from Go Daddy dot com.

Nothing more needs to be said.

      😀

  9. Phil says:

    Another satisfied customer!

  10. Radford Harrell says:

I’m shocked you lasted this long! I bought a fleece pull over from you years ago and it actually dissolved when it got wet. I cannot recommend your products at all.

And I thought Paragonian stuff was supposed to be durable!

  11. Radford Harrell says:

    Umm…never mind. Happy Birthday!

  12. Susan says:

Rad all of our products are made from a fine weave of unicorn mane…which gives you magical powers but cannot get wet. You probably didn’t read the care instructions.

Still, thanks for the birthday wishes!

  13. Marissa says:

    Happy Anniversary you guys!
